I've made a lot of Wikipedia:Manual of Style changes in your sandbox, and linked phrases and words to avoid (Wikipedia:Wikipuffery) in my edit summary. I removed the copyvio concerns of the An Introduction to the World Class Athletes of the Kona Clump Team article, even though it was duplicated here. The Sports Illustrated article is here; I haven't found the Rolling Stones or FHM articles. Dru of Id (talk) 15:50, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi Dru, I would like to get your expert advice on my article if it does already qualify as a stub? if not, what other information should I need to put in so that it could have it linked with the disambiguation page for Dave Watson? I read the guidelines regarding stubs and it seems that it is, also I would greatly appreciate to have others put in their ideas on the article.Lenoski (talk) 07:20, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

I only watchlist a handful of pages, but I go back through my contributions sporadically; it's usually better to post at a user's talk page, or keep a thread together but use Template:Talkback. Yes, it would be a stub, but as an article with no inline references, it would quickly be challenged. See Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If done through Wikipedia:Proposed deletion, an administrator would determine if there was a claim of notability, which I think it would pass. If done through Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, it would be listed for a week and discussed, with other editors attempting to source sufficient material to determine if it should be kept. Note that such discussion look like votes, but are mainly discussions of policy; dozens of groupies descending on boy band discussions still result in deletion with one 'fails notability guidelines for musicians'. Stay calm, there are plenty of editors trying to help. With your permission, I'm willing to add the Sports Illustrated reference to it as an example, and maybe see what else I can find to help. Hi Dru, I've added a link on the word "jump" highlighting and citing notable reference to the article made by Sean Ingle of the Guardian U.K. during that time. Would you say it's proper? Also although I am willing to post this as a stub I'm not sure which is the safest place to do it Wikipedia:Proposed deletion or Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. I've located the Rolling Stone Article on DW however it's in their archives under the article Hot Daredevils Free-ride Mountain Bikers by Rob Sheffield, October 1, 2003 published under Rolling Stone L.L.C. However I'm still trying to get the full article.Lenoski (talk) 08:37, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
