please comment about edits and not editors edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Republic_of_Macedonia/name. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Describing other editors as "bigoted individuals" [1] is quite uncivil and disruptive. Also, try not to assume bad faith on other editors, they are just asserting disagreement with your position. While that thread is now very disrailed by all editors there, it started being derailed the moment when you removed a joking comment [2] and then it went downhill with the mutual accusations.

Please understand that other editors may not take the issue so seriously, but that's not a reason to remove their edits as trolls, as that will only help to derail the conversation into a sterile discussion about the revert. Next time please just ignore that sort of comment, if only for the sake of keeping the conversation on-topic and advancing your position without derailments. --Enric Naval (talk) 13:44, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see your point. I understand I could and should act in a less heated fashion. However, to my defence I was obviously dealing with nationalists that weren't determined to answer the question of the topic. --Leladax (talk) 03:41, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Basically let me just add, the silly thing is I'm one of the most leftists on the matter among my people. I've lost my breath telling them that while the matter has some merit it shouldn't become a mountain of nationalist vigor. Most of the time in wikipedia I'm being attacked without having the opportunity to even show that (ps. yes, not a forum, but certain editors pass you through examination in a forum-fashion anyway.). --Leladax (talk) 03:45, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Regarding your comments on Talk:Republic_of_Macedonia/name: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.

This comment saying that some editors are on a anti-greek POV clique [3] is plain uncivil and uncalled for. I suggest that you stop making sarcastic comments about other editors and that you don't respond to provocations from other editors, neither real nor perceived. --Enric Naval (talk) 01:10, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Arbitration case warning edit

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article ban. Thank you.

Related to above warning. --Enric Naval (talk) 01:15, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
