July 2019 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Berthe de Courrière. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 11:06, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

citing an actual source edit

@Alexf Sorry but I edited a link that was already there to a site which plagarised my original article which is quoted heavily in this wiki without attribution. I had the plagiarized blog removed (https://www.metacenterchicago.com/2017/04/12/flowers-evil-satanic-feminists-bohemian-paris-berthe-de-courriere-adult-content/?fbclid=IwAR09mR8XvIAPsxE3hRkXUELmnpEqC0TTHWnUaN9dU97XtWg9OtcmNFwat7U) and updated it to my original article. My article linked at ledespencer.com is also published in French translation in the book

"Berthe de Courrière - Les Amateurs de Remy de Gourmont". www.remydegourmont.org (in French). Retrieved 9 February 2019.

cited in the article.

It is not an extraneous link it is the source your users have been using.
