WP:VG Assessment

edit

I have assessed Eschalon: Book I, and have left a very lengthy note on the talk page which you should probably look at. It holds suggestions on how to improve the article. I've promoted it to Start Class, as well. Cheers! --haha169 (talk) 03:37, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me after I am back from China. (See dates on my userpage/talkpage) --haha169 (talk) 03:51, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry. If you dislike Wikipedia's policies, then go play on a blog. There are serious copyright concerns on Wikipedia, and copyvios will not be tolerated. Also, Wikipedia is not a random collection of random things, so notability must be established in order to merit an article. Remember that Wikipedia is non-profit, and it cannot afford to buy memory to hold non-notable articles. --haha169 (talk) 18:43, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Alright then, no need to be a elitist twat about it. On the whole Wikipedia is a good place, a pity about members like yourself haha169. Learner Jedi (talk) 18:48, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the comment. I don't really care what you say about me, but please consider reading the policies before editing Wikipedia again. I just want to see a Wikipedia that people actually believe, and not say, "It's unreliable". --haha169 (talk) 17:45, 1 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Here is a list of policies you might want to see: WP:V, WP: NOTGUIDE, WP:NOTE, WP: CITE, WP: NOT, WP:IMAGE, and WP:IUP. --haha169 (talk) 17:47, 1 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Eschalon Book II Logo.JPG)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Eschalon Book II Logo.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:08, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Eschalon: Book II

edit

I have nominated Eschalon: Book II, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eschalon: Book II. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. File source problem with File:Eschalon Book One Character Creation.JPG

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Eschalon Book One Character Creation.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:47, 12 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 14:47, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
