Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Cheyenne language, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Particularly look at the information on sourcing. I'll include the sourcing template below. Before you save an edit, use the preview button. If it doesn't look right, do not click save. If you can't figure out how to make it look right, look at other pages and ask for help before saving edits. Thanks. - CorbieV 18:57, 10 February 2017 (UTC) - CorbieV 18:57, 10 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, LeahChiorello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Hello, Leah. After reading your article regarding the Kuvi language in your sandbox, there were a few strong and weak points. While I read your lead and it seemed to have a brief overall discussion of the main idea of your piece, I wish it had some more information regarding the language as well as the background of it as it does not leave me all that interested in the rest of the article. Also there was some awkward wording that I edited, but in the future would make sure to proofread and ensure there is an encyclopedic tone paired with your writing. As is present on many other wikipedia pages, I would also make attempts to provide links to external wikipedia pages when it comes to keywords and when possible. In terms of your bibliography, you have gathered plenty of sources all of which seem to be scholarly and promising in terms of having value to your topic. I look forward to seeing the progression of your article.
