Speedy deletion nomination of Lawrence Bullock
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Lawrence Bullock requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -WarthogDemon 18:18, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Your autobiographical article
editI have removed the speedy-deletion tag from your article and added an "underconstruction" tag, which will protect it, for a few days only, to allow you to add material. For future reference, please note that as we get a very large number of new articles - something over one a minute at times - many of which are one-liners and are never added to, it is prudent to delay posting an article until there is enough material, including references, to make it clear that it is a serious contribution. Please read the following guidelines:
- Your first article
- Autobiography - explaining why it is strongly discouraged, and some of the possible pitfalls
- Notability (people) - the notability standard for someone to have a Wikipedia article, in particular WP:CREATIVE and WP:MUSICBIO
Note that the notability criterion requires references from reliable sources independent of the subject. There is good advice for those who wish to contribute on a subject where they have a conflict of interest in User:Uncle G/On notability#Writing about subjects close to you:
When writing about subjects that are close to you, don't use your own personal knowledge of the subject, and don't cite yourself, your web site, or the subject's web site. Instead, use what is written about the subject by other people, independently, as your sources. Cite those sources in your very first edit. If you don't have such sources, don't write.

The article Lawrence Bullock has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- unref blp
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Boleyn (talk) 05:50, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
