- Thanks for the welcome! I'm still looking around and trying not to make too many mistakes, while helping where I can. I hope I'll be able to be helpful. Laz 18:58 18 Jun 2003 (UTC)
Nice work on OMWF. :-) Evercat 21:57 23 Jun 2003 (UTC)

request for larger picture
editNice work on Image:AlysonHannigan.jpg. Is there any chance you could upload a larger version of that picture? (I assume that the one you have there is scaled-down.) The autothumbnailing feature can make it fit on a page that only needs a small image, but 150px is kind of miniscule. How large is the original?
Again, thanks for the image. grendel|khan 21:31, 2004 Jul 3 (UTC)
- I'll check it asap! Lazarus Long 09:19, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Heinlein edits
editHi, LazLong -- I did an edit to the Heinlein article that you might want to look at. I understand why you felt my comments about his later works were POV, but I've reinstated some factual material about that period of his life. If you like, we can discuss this on the article's talk page. -- --Bcrowell 21:42, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- I've just read it, seems pretty ok to me. Lazarus Long 09:19, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Image:AlysonHannigan.jpg
editWhen you uploaded Image:AlysonHannigan.jpg to Wikipedia and claimed it as your own work, you agreed to license it under the GFDL. You cannot then change the license to something more restrictive. Originally you specified, in fact, a LESS restrictive license, but I note you subsequently changed it to a "no third party use" license (whether you meant it that way or not).
I'm assuming you meant what you agreed to when you uploaded it, and I've adjusted the image description page to state that it is GFDL. —Morven 04:23, Mar 31, 2005 (UTC)

editYou were listed on the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Italy page as living in or being associated with Italy. Alyson Hannigan
editHow do you know she owns a home in Sacramento, CA?
- I don't. I never wrote that anywhere, actually. Lazarus Long 19:45, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Alyson Hannigan picture.
editI left you a comment nearly three years ago about it, and I never followed, up. [[User_talk:Grendelkhan/Archive1#Alyson_Hannigan_Pic|you said] that you had a larger version of it; I would indeed like it if you uploaded the larger one, flaming red eyes and all, to the Commons. grendel|khan 22:16, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Image:ScarpaRome2000.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:ScarpaRome2000.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 16:49, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:47, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
