Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article L'angwic may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. - ulayiti (talk) 22:00, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

L'angwic at AfD

edit

Hi! The article on L'angwic, which you have made significant contributions to, has been listed at Articles for Deletion (AfD) in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy. If you have an interest in preserving the article, you may place a vote on the article's AfD page, explaining why the article should be included in Wikipedia. - ulayiti (talk) 22:25, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

To merit the inclusion on an article in Wikipedia, the subject matter should be important, or notable, enough to deserve a place in an encyclopaedia. We get a lot of articles on artificial languages, and they tend to get deleted since they're usually not of much significance. This is an encyclopaedia, after all, and you can't write about just anything on it. However, if you think L'angwic should be included here, you should justify your case by for example mentioning the number of speakers the language has (and prove that), and whether it's been mentioned in the media.
If you want to learn more about contributing to Wikipedia, you can have a look at the welcome page. - ulayiti (talk) 22:47, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
It's not my decision whether or not to delete it anyhow. You should probably post your comments at the article's AfD page, which is where the community decides whether to keep or delete the page (see WP:AFD). - ulayiti (talk) 23:08, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:MoiEtVous3-je.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MoiEtVous3-je.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:27, 29 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 11:27, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
