Henry Abner edit

Hi,
Thanks for your work. I have alerted an Admin. to the situation. I am not sure if the page is suitable for WP:CSD or whether it would have to go to WP:AfD. Stay tuned. Eagleash (talk) 13:51, 8 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

July 2017 edit

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Zarb-e-Sukhan. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Saqib (talk) 17:44, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Saqib: you've made a mistake here. I removed the notice because the user had copied and pasted the template for the AfD of a different page, they hadn't actually nominated Zarb-e-Sukhan for deletion. As such there was no record in the AfD category of it, or in the log, and the links on the template on the page went to the other page's discussion I noted this both in the edit description, and on the article talk page, and made sure that the user was made aware of the mistake, and pointed them to the guidelines of how to nominate Zarb-e-Sukhan for deletion if they so wished. You appear to have missed all of this. Landscape repton (talk) 17:48, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Ops. Sorry! Alas I was just going to report you. thanks for the note. --Saqib (talk) 17:53, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hoaxen edit

I added a new potential candidate for the list of hoaxes on Wikipedia to its talk page, section Nine-year WikiHoax. John_Pelham_(officer), which is an imbedded, partial hoax, rather than a full hoax article, but it did make it in print. D'you think it belongs on the list?
