Is this bot approved? It's running at quite a high EPM.xenotalk 13:13, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, eyes deceived me. EPM seems ok, but please seek approval before running this bot outside your own userspace. xenotalk 13:17, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
My bot is in the list "Bots without flag" and waits for the botflag. Why should I wait for approving, you see how much uploads are not compatible with the licenses of Wikipedia and how much edits I do in a short period of time...--Lancbot (talk) 13:21, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
That page you mention in a historical page and not a replacement for BRFA. We have processes in place for this; wait for approval before running the bot. Also, there is no good reason for an image tagging bot to run without a flag. And why is it reporting in someone else's userspace? –xenotalk 13:24, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Fuck... I see. Poor Flinkr.--Lancbot (talk) 13:26, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Now, I changed. But Filinik creates the bot, so its not that bad.
I've moved the page to User:Lancbot/Report. –xenotalk 13:31, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. How long must I wait estimated for the bot flag?
Well you'll have to wait for a member of the BAG to look at the request and then if they approve a trial, you can run a trial without a flag, and then if they approve the bot, you will get the flag. –xenotalk 13:35, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
