Reply to AfD question edit

In response to your question about this edit, I call them as I see them, not how others think I should see them. - Crockspot 20:27, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Something else, you might want to request evidence that I ever "censored" certain links. I advocated for that, but I don't believe I ever made any mainspace edits to that effect. If I did, it couldn't have been more than one. Certain people like to attribute a lot of activity to me, but they rarely can back up that attribution with any verifiable evidence. (In fact, you would do well to ask for evidence of any statements made about me, you might be surprised by the crickets.) - Crockspot 20:36, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea what you are referring to? LamontStormstar (talk) 02:42, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your user page edit

I just viewed the history of your user page. All it contains is three edits: one a wikibreak template, one vandalism, and the other a revert. Wouldn't it just be easier to recreate it? Acalamari 22:21, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I would prefer the deleting administrator restored it as I think recreating something an administrator deleted is grounds for speedy deletion. LamontStormstar (talk) 22:25, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
There's nothing in the speedy deletion criteria that says that, except for WP:CSD#G4, but pages are only deleted under that criteria if the page has been through a deletion discussion. Acalamari 22:27, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ingrid Newkirk PETA ref edit

Hi - thanks for adding in the reference for that AIDS remark on the PETA page. However, your source is from a press release from an opposing group so I wonder if there is not a better reference. I have seen that this came from the Sept 1989 issue of Vogue, but I haven't seen that magazine. I don't doubt that the quote is correct since it appears many places, just that perhaps there is a less contentious source for it.Bob98133 (talk) 13:44, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I went into the article's history about six months back to find it. I did not judge the quality of the source. It was just the article originally used multiple instances of that reference and the original instance and the other instances were not updated so the reference was lost. This has happened to countless articles before. LamontStormstar (talk) 14:45, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Talkpage deletion edit

Regarding your request:[1]

I've looked at the revision history of your talkpage, and it appears that the deleted edits were oversighted (removed from the page history entirely) due to potentially personal information regarding other editors. I'm afraid there's nothing for an admin to restore other than a couple edits that appear empty, now. If you want those restored, let me know, but they don't contain any useful information. Thanks for your patience. ~Kylu (u|t) 05:06, 6 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
