Use of named ref tags. edit

I noted from your recent edits that you may be unclear on the use of named ref tags. The normal form is <ref name="WhateverName">citation details here</ref> for the first usage and <ref name="WhateverName" /> for subsequent uses Many editors will omit the double quotation marks when the name has no embedded spaces, but they are still preferred for consistency. I hope this helps. Cheers.LeadSongDog come howl 19:06, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Naturopathy V Naturopathic Medicine Degree. edit

Even the US Department of Education recognizes Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) and Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) as two distinct degrees. As it stands the only degree granted by CNME recognized schools in the US is Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD). While I do agree the popular correspondence colleges do not meet the standards for a Doctor of Naturopathy degree, continually using the two designations as though they were inter-changable only confuses things.

I have no objections to people practicing naturopathic medicine but not at the expense of naturopathy! There is room for both, and neither is likely to go away. I would assert that confusing the public be trying to marry these two distinct approaches as being one does harm to both professions.

You you have my point of view! Lets talk and see if we can find some common ground.
