WEVU-CA and others

edit

If you have sources for this article you can add them to the discussion page for that article located here: Talk:WEVU-CA or you can read up on how to add new sources and what not yourself. The first message I had has lots of great links. If you want to let me know the information you want to add, I could look it over and give you some tips on adding it.Bassg☢☢nistTalk/Contribs 18:44, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sobongo

edit

The article Sobongo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable seller and marketer of satellite dishes. The provided sources do not meet Wikipedia's standards for notability of companies.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited WLSC, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page GCN (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Cut and paste move

edit

If there is a good reason to rename an article, it should be done by using the "Move" link at the top of the page. (If you can't see the link, hold your mouse button over the little downward pointer labelled "More".) Copying the content of an article and pasting it into a new article, as you did at WDDV and WFLG, is not an acceptable way of moving an article to a new title, because doing so loses the editing history, which must be kept for copyright reasons. Cut and paste move (2)

edit

It looks as though you forgot what I told you in the message above from 22 March about copying the contents of an article into another article, because you have done the same thing again. This is not optional: the editing history of the article must be kept, for copyright reasons. Usually, the move can be done by using the "Move" link at the top of the page. Under some circumstances, that is not possible, and only an administrator can move the page, in which case you can ask for the move to be made by posting {{Db-move|title of the page to be moved|reason for the move}} at the top of the page with the title that you want the page to be moved to. Please do that if you think there are good reasons why the article should be renamed and can't move it yourself, and be careful to avoid making the same mistake again.
