Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia.   Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. 99.168.81.210 (talk) 17:11, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Additionally, in the course of rewriting the article you continue to delete sourced content which may be viewed as counter-promotional. Please use the article talk page to explain such edits, otherwise they can be interpreted as censorship or vandalism. Overall, your neutrality is open to question. Thank you, 99.168.81.210 (talk) 18:30, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Am seeking to add a more thorough factual background -- both critical and biographical -- and links.

seeking to add more documented biographical evidence to a sparse page.

That's fine, so long as the tone is neutral, there are no copyright violations, and sourced content doesn't vanish without explanation. Most often such revamping originates from a subject's offices, in which case the edits and their origins receive extra scrutiny. Most of the mayoral candidacy section is unsourced--perhaps you can add an objective source for that information. 99.168.81.210 (talk) 18:36, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Jeff Adachi Photo 4.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Jeff Adachi Photo 4.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:17, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
