The_Floating_Piers

Hi there, please see WP:RS on why we need a reliable source stating the facts that you are trying to add to The Floating Piers article. Just adding those sentences and pointing to a company's website does not meet Wikipedia's standards for reliably-sourced info. Reliable secondary sources are also preferred; otherwise, anyone could put up their own website and claim they worked on this project or that. Obviously that wouldn't work. Thanks. (copied/pasted by Rockypedia) Currently we have a page for the project - http://deep-dive-systems.com/the-floating-piers-lago-diseo/
Everything is described there. We also have a couple if interviews (like: http://www.interview.to/%D0%B1%D0%B3/%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%85%D0%B8%D0%B2/2017/march/%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0-%D0%B8-%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%81%D0%B5%D0%BD/) but they are all in Bulgarian. So they are not a suitable choice for the English version of Wikipedia.
Our work is being mentiond in very few places (like: http://www.widewalls.ch/the-floating-piers-christo-jeanne-claude/), but I don't see how that is a more reliable source than our website itself? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LB-IdeaMAX (talkcontribs) 14:15, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Again, please read WP:RS - specifically the section on "Primary, secondary, and tertiary sources." The page in Bulgarian actually is a preferable source, because it's a secondary source. Understand that anyone, including me, could put on their own website, "I worked on the Floating Piers project and I did a great job", but obviously, that would not be an appropriate source to use for Wikipedia - otherwise, everyone would do that for whatever information they wanted added to the encyclopedia.
I'm trying to get Google to translate the Bulgarian page for me, and I'll add your company info to the page once I can read that source. Rockypedia (talk) 14:30, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I added a couple of sentences based on the info in that article. Thanks for pointing me to that! It was very helpful. Rockypedia (talk) 15:02, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Antares International, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
