July 2007

Dear KipSmithers, hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Million Dollar Championship. Please be more careful when editing pages and do not remove content without a good reason, (which should be specified in the edit summary.) Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia! If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.- ArielGold 18:22, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I Created the page List of Million Dollar Champions as a replacement. Kip Smithers 18:23, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes but did you notice it completely removed the formatted table? If that was what you'd planned, please remember to provide an edit summary, so the Recent Changes patrol folks understand. :) ArielGold 18:28, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Edit: Ahh I see, if you put "moved info to [[new page]] (reason) in edit summary it'll help for the future.  :)

Fair use disputed for Image:TabooTuesday05.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:TabooTuesday05.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:37, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Where did the discussion take place? I just looked at the WP:PW and the archives for the last 2 months, and I saw no discussion over splitting the Lockdown or Bound for Glory PPV's. Can you provide a link? TNA No Surrender

I understand the reasoning behind you posting that, but seriously, just because of one or two edits of information that is going to be on the internet or already is, being unsourced is no reason to come and call foul. TonyFreakinAlmeida 00:36, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It ain't original research, if I can see it with my own eyes through a source that I know is reliable such as a results site or a TV screen, it can't be refuted. http://freeforumzone.leonardo.it/discussione.aspx?c=62859&f=62859&idd=5319082

All because someone updates the page with results you have to get rid of them just because at the moment it doesn't have a source? What happened to just putting "citation needed" next to them? TonyFreakinAlmeida 00:42, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You know the template {{TNA programs}} that you created? Well, I put it up for speedy deletion. The history on TNA programming hasn't really been that extensive to qualify for a separate template. All the programs are already listed on the main TNA template (with plenty of space to spare). I just wanted to let you know. We're still friends. MITB LS 01:27, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

An administrator denies to delete the template. There is only one way to get it deleted now, and I can't. You'll have to (since you're the one who created it). Just put this template at the top of the page (in bold): ( <noinclude>{{db-author}}</noinclude> ). MITB LS 16:34, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lockdown (2007)

I"d love to work on it together. YOu seem to have a better way with words and sentences than I do. I'm better with details, and especially in this case, photography. Mshake3 05:51, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It looks pretty good so far. Are you going to add more detail to the background section, because it looks a little weak at the moment. If you at any stage find yourself getting stuck, look at December to Dismember (2006), One Night Stand (2005) or One Night Stand (2006) (work in progress). Looks good so far! Hope this works out! Larry Wilson

Hey Kip, you reverted the edit I did on the Larry Wilson article. If you notice the part that I removed was nothing more than a veiled attempt at making the case for electing Johnny Robinson to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and contributed nothing to a reader's understanding of Wilson's life or football career. I would recommend that you reconsider the revert.24.91.50.32 02:45, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey

How's it going? Living the good life? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:31, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm good. Just getting my way through, from school. All is good (I guess). Good to know your warning those IP's. Maybe if you warn them with an evil look, they'll stop vandalizing. Keep up the good work Mr. Smithers. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:15, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for taking an interest for my username. I have thought about it...... but the thing is that I don't want the little thing on my page or talk page to have redirected from Zerorules677. That's my only problem. I have a fettish with it. You know what I mean. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:13, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Again, thanks for taking an interest. I really appreciate it. But, yeah. I guess that's how The Clan works. Thanks AGAIN. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:19, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Done. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:34, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, I'm stuck between going to Survivor Series or London for Thanksgiving. I really want to go to SS (because of a famous return; since Davnel has his hopes for Chris Jericho, I think I should have mine). Or go to London and hang out with my cousin. But, I hope I go to SS. So, how's your soccer career going? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:40, 01 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

confused?

Why did you revert my edit to Chaos (mythology) as vandalism, as it was not, please be more careful. Thank you, Tiptoety 01:24, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, thats what i thought. No worries, you didn't warn me and you reverted it, thank you. See you around. Tiptoety 01:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and thank you for fixing my formatting on my user page! Tiptoety 01:34, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism on List of speed skating records

Just so you know, the revert you did on List of speed skating records did not undo all vandalism by 192.87.100.226. I just reverted the rest. This is not an accusation of unattentiveness or anything, just something I felt I needed to let you know :-) Phaunt 20:17, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

MITB LS presents...

The Excellent Userpage Award
Nice job in reformatting your userpage to fit in all that space. Looks a lot better than the one with all the userboxes to the right. MITB LS 22:54, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Adoption :)

Hey! Thanks for the invite, i'd love your help. I've been looking for an adopter for a few days, then tried asking in irc, but I'm a bit noobish with irc as well. I've been searching wikipedia for all my needs for a while now, and I want to do anything I can to give back. I would like to learn about editing and possibly article creation and the reverting of those bloody vandals. I'd love to hear any suggestions you have for me. Have a great evening! bigdawgs9 23:18, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Roger that.

Uhhh next question, how do I put this into our previous comment talk thing instead of making a new one. bigdawgs9 23:30, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Exactly.

Just thought it would be nicer than to spam up your page. :P bigdawgs9 23:34, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Awesome, thanks.bigdawgs9 23:46, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Put me to work

Happy October revered mentor! ^_^ I read through most of those topics and took the toturial. I think I have it all under my hat and am ready to start editing. My problem is that I don't know where to start. I noticied that to obtain many of the anti-vandalism tools you must have a certain number of edits. Anyway, I joined a anti-link spam group, so I will try to help them out. If you have any ideas as to where I can look to contribute my time, or if you have a project you could use help on, i'd be happy to take orders. One other thing i'd like to ask you is if you know where I can find a tool/script to reset the sandbox. I noticied while messing around there that many newbies blank the page, deleting the instructions on what the sandbox is and how to use it. I have seen several users use some sort of tool to reset it, if you have any information on this, please let me know. Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon! bigdawgs9 03:55, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
