Why are you getting confused

edit

Dear Kumarrao,

I thought u wud be atleast respectful towards ur kamma community, but u r also insulting ur ancestors too along with other. U hav misled the name of ur Dadi surname of Kammas wid Saagi surname. (as saagi itself isnt ther in Kammas) Plz see Kakatiya inscr 421. which states "Dadi Ganna-Nayaka made a gift of land to god Visvantha of Gudimetta during the reign of Kakatiya Rudra-Maharaja. "

I hope u r getting confused with historic ppl names n inter-mixing wid one another. Dadi Gannama was commander of Kakatiyas in 12-13th century. (see kakatiya inscrp) while Sagi Gannama was from Vundi n was Governor of Gajapati dynasty n belongs to 15th century (see gajapati period inscrp). Also The history of Andhra country by Yashoda Devi, pg 257 [[1]]

So u hav mixed n played with 2 different ppl history who belonged 2 different eras n different castes.

I request you to collect information about forcible conversions of hindus into muslims under the rule of Nizam state of Hyderabad. I was informed about it through a telugu TV channel news program. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kumarsarma (talkcontribs) 17:17, 28 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nizam's regime reflected German Nazi regime in Hyderabad state. Our present politicians won't dare to talk about it because they may lose muslim vote bank.

Why don't you start a blog in telugu about Islamic violence in history? Many teluguites are starting blogs in te.wordpress.com

Dear Kumarrao, I have noticed an issue with a user on http://www.panoramio.com/user/829493 named kkpraveen. This user has copied the pictures from wikipedia.org under Guntur article which were originally taken by me. I have no problem in him using these pictures for showing Guntur on the world stage like the maps.google.com, but he needs to mention that these pictures are gathered from wikipedia site. Any help on this is greatly appreciated Gnt (talk) 12:40, 9 April 2009 (UTC).Reply

Really appreciate your quick help on this. I hope the user 'kkpraveen' puts the images as taken from Wikipedia. Gnt (talk) 18:37, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kota Ancestry

edit

Dear Kumarrao,

Please refer to the pages 159-161 in the book refered by you (http://books.google.co.in/books?id=-d9IAvFOUHsC&pg=PA171&dq=dhanyakataka&lr=#PPA149,M1). It clearly says that Kota Ketaraja II was the ancestor of the three Kshatriya families of Datla, Jampana and Dantuluri. Like all historical books Sharada Devi also said Kota Kings were of Dhananjaya gotra and were ancestors of Dhananjaya gotra Kshatriya Rajus.

I dont understand when all historians (M.S. Rama Swami Ayyangar, B. Seshagiri Rao, Durga Prasad , Vaidehi Krishnmurthy & VR Rao Vepachedu) including Sharada Devi (refered by you) clearly mention about Kota Kings to be ancestors of Dhananjaya gotra kshatriyas. U r dragging again n again about ancestry. If you still need clarification about ancestry argue with all those famous Historians.

I hope this solves ur long time doubt n you will make amendments/rectfications in ur wikipages accordingly.

Thnx Indianprithvi (talk) 19:05, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dear Kumarrao,

I reiterate There is no controversy for ancestry link of Dhanunjaya gotra Rajus to Kota Vamsa, U can even refer to page 172-173 which clearly indicate where were Kotas after ther fall on 1268 AD. All there century old traditions (11th, 12th 14th 15th century AD) of Dhanunjaya Rajus r themselves indication of this Some clans were descendents of Kota Ketaraja, som were descendents of Kota Rudraraju (Rudraraju clan) n Kota Bhimaraju (Bhimarajus). All Historians hav confirmed this therz no doubt about that. Only controversy is the mythical origin of Dhananjaya. But let me tell u, Gotra in Savarana (Kshatriyas, Brahmins) means generally guru. Vishwamitra is gotra of Brahmins though he is kshatriya. Only controversy is who is this mythical person Dhananjaya n his relation to Kota Kings.

Coming to Kotha Chowdary. One doesnt need to read it as its a Caste (Kamma) based book written by a Kamma. Ther r lot of ppl like him in every caste but cannot b regarded as Historian by any means. I can also qoute lot of Kshatriya Books but I dont want 2 qoute them. Ther r lot of Raju & Kapu historians who have also spent time lot of time & money on historical evidence. If u study thoz u will know more about Kammas n other castes also.

So U think all the Historians didnt put effort n ur Bhavaih Chowdary is only guy 2 put effort. Its ridiculous. You can believ him only if atleast 1 or 2 historians (Neutral) supported his theory.

No inscription available to date ever linked Kota Kings to Kammas (by names or by gotras or by inscriptions). If u can refer to atleast one inscription/ coin then only u can defend mr. kothai Chowdary.

I again reiterate U cant qoute caste based books in sensitive issues when ther are lot of Historians books on it. I leave it on ur ethics.

Vandalism to Kamma (caste)

Just saw your message on my talk page a bit ago. The vandalism from that IP seems to have stopped, but I'll keep an eye on it. If repeated vandalism occurs again, leave a message at WP:AIV and an administrator will consider a block (I don't have the authority to block IPs). I did check the page regarding the disappearance of the photos etc. I guess that there's most probably been a change at the template level. Do let me know if I can help in any other way. Thank you. --AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 15:35, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The image is owned by me, so no copyright problems should arise. Yes, these 2 prominent personalities are missing. I probably triesd getting an image of N G Ranga but... I'll incorporate both these too, over time. --AltruismT a l k - Contribs. 15:43, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kamma People Image

edit

Hi Kumrrao, thanks for your wikitalk/request.I would like to retain the current picture, not because that i had created it,but to keep the faces/personalities to minimum.Too much faces might look boastful and might be a great turn-off for most visitors. Also I think among the community pages we already have the maximum faces/personalities in the info box.First of all I would like to brief you on what basis the faces/personalities were choosen.(1)To give a general feel of what a Kamma male/female would look, (2)Famous personalities who have proven track record in their field, (3)Should contain female acheivers also, (4)Faces that should quickly be recalled (at least 50% of them by Indians nationwide), (5)Belong to all era's (atleast from recent decades), (6)Their field of work should be wide spread (Arts,Political,Sports,Litreature etc).

Ofcourse it becomes pertty difficult to choose between two personalities, but once a year they can be overhaulled. Also politicans are kept to minimum as that might send wrong signals. But I would appreciate if you can come up with more such personalities from the past. Also as I am from Tamilmadu,Kamma's there usually keep very low profile even tough they are quite successful in certain fields they are into.Hope you will agree on my view (atleast some of them). Please give in your toughts also. Regarding Telugu symbol for number "5"

edit

Dear Friend,

First of all I thank you for developing Telugu Script webpage to that extant. I observed the Telugu symbol given to number "5". It is not correct completly. I have observed many old printed versions of Books and even palm leaf scripts (Taalapatra Grandhaalu), I found that there are different varieties of writing 5, but the represented symbol look like a corrupted form. Can anybody help me how to draw a correct symbol. I anybody want to draw it, then I can give them references. Thanks in advance. Bsskchaitanya (talk) 05:43, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
