These conflicts are well documented.

Battle of Plassey, though significant in Indian history- did not result in establishment of EIC rule across India.

Maratha Empire, Sikh Empire and Carnatic Empires were independent from the Mughal rule. And EIC had to fight a lot more battles to wrestle control from these empires.
