Quarterstaff

Hi, I took the link you put off the Kendo page, where I don't think it is appropriate (the shinai is used as a substitute in training, more like a wooden foil). Your pre-Roman Germanic Britain theory

Let me add to everything others have said in response to your theory that Old English stems from Germanic speakers in pre-Roman Britain: If they had been there in the Roman period, they surely would have been converted to Christianity (as were the ancestors of the Welsh, Cornish and Bretons). But this is contradicted by the historical fact that the conversion of the Anglo-Saxons began in 596. --teb728 01:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

HEMA articles

I've noticed that you've put some detailed technical discussion/instruction in the quarterstaff, George Silver, and DiGrassi articles. I'm not sure that this is appropriate for Wikipedia though, because it seems very interpretive and not really verifiable. Kendo & Western Fencing

It has been very interesting to read your summary of similarities and differences between kendo & Western fencing. It is a shame that due to some obscure reasons the section was removed from Kendo article.
