Proposed deletion of Zoo.gr edit

The article Zoo.gr has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I cannot find any significant coverage of this site in reliable sources, so I think it fails to meet the general notability guidelines.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Chzz  ►  03:00, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Libya edit

It wasn't deleted, it was moved to the timeline page, I didn't move it but i put "See Timeline of the 2011 Libyan uprising". We have to conserve kg space, otherwise the article gets mandatory shortening. Zenithfel (talk) 22:40, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

LibyaFeb17 Website edit

While we have been using the source for weeks now we may have to take a break from using it because just recently today it has become overflowing in unconfirmed claims. I know its compulsive to get the info out, but if we keep using it like this people will only see it as a base for rumors. Don't take this the wrong way. I personally hate Gaddaffi, thousands have died because of him, including children who were thrown out of hospital windows by his goons.Zenithfel (talk) 01:18, 16 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I apologize if I jumped the gun in removing some of the references, I'm still very new at editing and am still getting the hang of it. I think my actions were not inappropriate, I looked at the links and what the article was citing from them, and there were a lot of statements in the article that would cite a source and the link provided wouldn't be related. There was one part that said two of Gadaffi's sons were killed by opposition aircraft and that seemed to be just patently false, I haven't heard any other news outlet provide verification of this. I'm all for getting accurate information in the encyclopedia as soon as possible, but I just think it needs to be verified first. B-I-G and S-M-R-T!!1! (talk) 20:28, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Somebody added the kamakazi section back in, I went to the link and here's part of what the cited article actually says.
"... Unfortunately it was all Urban Legend and I fell for it too. Followers on Twitter were so desperate for good news that the wild tale spread like wildfire. I waited hours before reporting and had confirmation from “reliable sources” that turned out to be not so reliable after all ... This is just one example of why blogging is faster and more unreliable than normal press. The ethics of good journalism require two, sometimes three, independent sources. Blogging and tweeting require none."
A lot of people use Wikipedia for a source of information, so if we start posting every rumor that comes along with out any verification from reliable sources, we're doing those people, and Wikipedia itself, a disservice I think. B-I-G and S-M-R-T!!1! (talk) 20:36, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 9 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Panhellenic Socialist Movement, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Centre. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:Oh-my-ghost-game.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Oh-my-ghost-game.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:05, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your request at Files for upload edit

File permission problem with File:Lazyland-Logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Lazyland-Logo.jpg, which you've attributed to Michalis Nafpliotis. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 20:11, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of LandFort edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on LandFort requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 11:55, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

October 2015 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with LandFort. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Please leave the tag for an administrator to evaluate. 331dot (talk) 02:30, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of LandFort for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article LandFort is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LandFort until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. 331dot (talk) 11:50, 25 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Draft:LazyLand concern edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:LazyLand, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:LazyLand edit

Hello, Kotsolis. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "LazyLand".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:47, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

September 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Mario Balotelli, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note that the infobox accounts for league figures only. Mattythewhite (talk) 01:08, 17 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for March 1 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020 in video games, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page PC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Sorcery (1985 video game) edit

Hello, Kotsolis

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sorcery (1985 video game) for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
