Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sfragida.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Sfragida.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Seals edit

Hello! Could I ask you where you found the two seals, of the president of the Republic and of the Government? I have never seen them used. If you can point me to an image or text confirming their authenticity, it'd be much appreciated. Regards, Constantine 09:19, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Νόμος υπ'αριθμ. 48 (ΦΕΚ Α΄ 108/7.6.1975) ('Αρθρο 6 :

All right, that is the typical generic state seal used all over Greece. I meant the specific designs, with blue circles etc.. These I have never seen before, which is odd, since apparently they are meant to be used like the US presidential seal on documents, podiums etc. Constantine 10:34, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Ethnosimo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ethnosimo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:06, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please claim your upload(s): File:Proedria.png edit

Hi, This image was seemingly uploaded prior to current image polices, Thank you.

However, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure all media on English Wikipedia is correctly licensed and attributed it would be appreciated if you were able to confirm, that it was your own work, by marking it as {{own}}, amending the {{information}} added by a third party, and by changing the license to an appropriate "self" variant. You can also add |claimed=yes to the {{Media by uploader}} or {{Presumed self}} tag(s) if present to indicate that you've acknowledged the image, and license shown (and updated the {{information}} where appropriate).

IF you have other uploads, please consider "claiming" them in a similar manner, You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

This will assist those reviewing the many many "free" images on commons that have not yet been transferred to Commons. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:45, 10 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
