April 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to Panathinaikos F.C., you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:37, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Olympiacos edit

Hi Kosths, welcome to Wikipedia!

I noticed your edits on Olympiacos and just wanted to clarify the position as to why your edit has been reverted. The UEFA report directly says that Olimpiacos is the most popular club in Greece, the citation is correct; if you look on page 41 of the report, along the graph line for Greece, you can see Olympiacos' name is there. The statement that it's the most popular club among the population of Athens is irrelevant to where the team is based, too; the citation backs up that it means the population of Athens. Manchester United might hypothetically be the most popular team in London in the UK, but it doesn't mean that Manchester United is based in London :)

If you'd like to discuss this further, I suggest you start a discussion on the relevant article talk page. That way, input can be gathered from the whole of the wiki community, and consensus can be obtained.
