I just returned to my section of the Salish Sea Walk of the Planets, and you seem to have completed deleted all reference to it. Explanation and advice appreciated. I put a huge amount of work into this. BSmith821 (talk) 21:17, 16 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I did the editing on Orrery because the page seemed to have lost focus and included stuff not actually about actual mechanical models of the solar system (explanation per removed or edited bit is in the page history / talk page). The Salish Sea in particular had become a very large part of the page including everything from travel tips to sign seeing ideas.
If Is it an idea to give Salish Sea Walk of the Planets its own page instead? Or as a start at least include it in this list Solar System model.

the book on having aphantasia should be on the wiki page? edit

this book is the only book written on the subject and I thought should be shown? I was the lead author of 31 people who's words make up this book. self promotion for the only book on this condition that affects 110 million people in the world, I think the subject needs the light of day rather than deleted, sorry but I am just someone who thinks sharing knowledge is useful and important. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alankendle (talkcontribs) 22:02, 8 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Alan Kendle,

I didn't removed the reference to your book because I don't like the book (frankly, I've seen it linked on a Facebook page you and I both frequent and have been considering buying it). Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia though and information should contribute something to the topic at hand and a mention of something (without links, from a non-independent source) is not how it works.

Additionally: it's not like the page doesn't have information and links to popular writings/introductions (see at the bottom) of the topic at hand (and yes, it can be improved upon as well). Koster2005 (talk) 09:32, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
