Conflict of interest problems (among other things) edit

I've reverted most of your changes. Language such as "His diverse life experiences, which includes being a historian, author, cinematographer, artist, conservationist and logger, gives him a unique perspective and abundant material for his talks." is more promotional than descriptive, so it is not appropriate for an encyclopedia. The copyrighted images of the book covers aren't permitted in a biography. The most serious issue is sourcing, however. For material to appear in a Wikipedia biography, we need to be able to trace it to an independent reliable source: a source completely unconnected to the target of the biography. Your changes and additions did not contain any trace of such sourcing.

I'm happy to help you navigate our policies on such matters if you want. Just drop me a note.—Kww(talk) 19:31, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you.--Orange Mike | Talk 01:54, 28 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

July 2014 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Good Luck Flag does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! - MrX 15:42, 6 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
