In regards to a rude comment you received

edit

KorinoChikara,

I sincerely offer my apologies regarding the "Don't mess with me" comment on your talk page.

That was my former IP address before it was blocked. We had some guests over at our house and one of the guests somehow got onto our computer and vandalized a bunch of articles, including the Luther Jackson Middle School article. The rude comment on your talk page was also made by said guest. If you have had any experience with 6 year olds you will understand where I am coming from.

Again, I am so so sorry that this happened. I found out about it just yesterday.

Yours,

Johannon (talk) 21:05, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Johannon: It's fine, it has happened quite a lot. I am confused as to why it is registered as a school IP though. I didn't take the comment by them seriously, so no harm done. However, I am still strongly against words like that, but I'm glad it happened to me instead of someone who would have been hurt by that. Anyways, thanks for the apology, it truly means a lot. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 21:46, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
I am confused as well regarding the address being registered as a school IP. Thank you so much for your patience. Johannon (talk) 21:14, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Johannon: You're welcome. It's not much of a problem for me. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 07:00, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

You don't know me but I had my share of run ins with people who are depressed online and even someone who genuinely thought they were possessed by a demon, it is clear that you are looking for attention here or else you would not have posted more on your user-page here. Anyways, my advice would be to turn to music I know artists like Enya are soothing. Also if you think you have it bad there are plenty of others who have it much worse I have also seen that. Good luck with everything. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:18, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

thank you for the caring. i'm not possessed by a demon, unless "demons of the past" is a thing. i don't really care much for religion.... i have someone stalking me. either way, thanks. i'll look into it. i'm trying to talk to that person but i can't find them and i think they know that very well. so i'm leaving a message on my user page. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 20:23, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Welcome =) If you have someone stalking you, why not just create a new account then? If it is really serious it may have to involve law enforcement, I wish you the best of luck and hope you can get back to editing again. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:27, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
i think he has control over my computer... i'm really confused. i don't think law enforcement would be able to help here, he isn't here. i know about him just as well too, but i can't reach him. anyways, thanks, but i really don't know what to do, but i really do need to find them. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 20:40, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Well if your computer is hacked then you could always try bringing it to best-buy or get a new hard drive. I would goto law enforcement as well what do you have to lose? I mean hacking is a crime. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:44, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
In the meantime seeing your computer and account here is compermised if you would be okay with it would recommend a temp. block for your wikipedia account so the person who is abusing your things doesn't cause harm here. This wouldn't apply to your user or talk page. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:50, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
actually, there is no way it's been compromised. i know no one from my state or country. they wouldn't know anything about this, i don't talk to anyone, nor do i see anyone. and he's in another country entirely. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 20:50, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
So you think the person has control over your computer, he is in another country and you don't think you have been hacked? You don't need to know people to be hacked some people just attack at random for the lulz. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:53, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
what would be gained from that? he is in another country indeed. and i know exactly where. i know his exact name too. i doubt he'd bother me without knowing i can speak of him, too. i'm not a very well known person (and i don't wish to be, actually). --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 20:56, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
i am very well aware of the consequences of all of this. but that's ok, doubt anyone would ever be able to help me though. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 20:57, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Why do people troll on the internet? For the attention, the person who is doing this to you knows it is bothering you. Anyways what do you plan on doing next? Can you continue to edit Wikipedia okay or do you want something to be done about this problem? Would addressing it over at WP:ANI be of any help where you can speak on what is going on? I think there are people who can help but you need to say what it is that you want done. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 21:01, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
i was really close to a few people, i doubt they would betray me. i could explain everything but it's very long. and my english is really bad right now. i don't have any plans because i can't get out. i don't know what can be done, but... i'd like to think i'd be fine. just not at this very minute. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 21:06, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
i have someone who could help me fix it, but she isn't on right now. and people have made it clear they can't understand me ever. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 21:07, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

besides, there's only 1 person i could think of who'd do it "for teh lulz". they were quite crazy. you see, there were 4 of us in a group. they didn't like the guy because they thought he was a stalker or something. but they are in fact the stalker. so i misplaced my blame right now, that i can think more rationally about this. the group disbanded in 2013 some time. the guy and i disappeared. the person said they tried sending me messages and such after being mean, but i never got any, and when i tried to return it, i got no response. i added the person on facebook considering the past would help me see clearly, and we had a weird conversation on facebook and skype. (i screenshot the conversation, they were just like "so it finally happened?" or something, that was the weird start of the conversation... but it's because i moved into that topic first.) i do have a feeling this person is being horrible to me, or trying to hurt me, this one is in the country. they'd be the only one to know i guess, but they don't know the extent. i don't get it. and i want to die. they seem uncaring of it. i guess i'd ask law enforcement about that person first. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 21:18, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

i don't trust usa. though i can't get rid of them or get away from them, obviously. otherwise i would have done so a while back. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 21:25, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
I want to help you in whatever it is that is bothering you here =). - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:34, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
ok then, i really need the help. thanks. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 23:41, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
I feel a bit better now, but... --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 00:48, 5 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure if I should put this on my user page itself, but I'll offer an apology here. I'm sorry for my actions, as they were very rude and disruptive, even if I was not intending to do so. I just tried to get help. I've had a bigger burden I've been carrying for just about ever, and I think it's finally gone. I decided to do some self-reflection, following some words... I've seen the error in my judgement and really would like to offer an apology. I've made a big problem out of basically nothing, and this whole year was horrible for me. I made everything a lot worse than it had to be over the years. I'm really my own enemy, and I only imagined everyone disliked me as well. Again, I think that problem is gone, but it's going to be hard to tell. --Kanashimi Hyoketsu 13:06, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Article upgrade assistance request (Pre-translation stage)

edit

Seasons Greetings,

This is in reference to a relatively new umbrella article on en-wikipedia named Ceremonial pole. Ceremonial pole is a human tradition since ancient times; either existed in past at some point of time, or still exists in some cultures across global continents from north to south & from east to west. Ceremonial poles are used to symbolize a variety of concepts in several different world cultures.

Through article Ceremonial pole we intend to take encyclopedic note of cultural aspects and festive celebrations around Ceremonial pole as an umbrella article and want to have historical, mythological, anthropological aspects, reverence or worships wherever concerned as a small part.

While Ceremonial poles have a long past and strong presence but usually less discussed subject. Even before we seek translation of this article in global languages, we need to have more encyclopedic information/input about Ceremonial poles from all global cultures and languages. And we seek your assistance in the same.

Since other contributors to the article are insisting for reliable sources and Standard native english; If your contributions get deleted (for some reason like linguistics or may be your information is reliable but unfortunately dosent match expectations of other editors) , please do list the same on Talk:Ceremonial pole page so that other wikipedians may help improve by interlanguage collaborations, and/or some other language wikipedias may be interested in giving more importance to reliablity of information over other factors on their respective wikipedia.

This particular request is being made to you since your user name is listed in Wikipedia:Translators available list.

Thanking you with warm regards Mahitgar (talk) 05:30, 24 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic)

edit

Hi. I was wondering if you would be interested in contributing articles to Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic)? It needs contributors to increase diversity of content from different countries and bring about large scale improvements. The idea at some point will be to host a National Contest related to your country of interest. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:14, 21 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:01, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:24, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

  The Original Barnstar
Hi Chikara san, Are you active to translate a section from English wikipedia article about an illustrator's art to Japanese one? It appears to be something close to interests you listed so I think you may enjoy this article. This page will give you some idea http://sorayama.net/sexy-robot-blog.html
You may also make contact via sorayama.net website. The work itself is about less than 700 words to start from many years of contribs in English pre-existing artlice I did. I started on the Japanese page but my days at Jouchi Daigaku are long gone so language escapes me.

WikiProject Liechtenstein

edit

Hi KorinoChikara, I saw that you are a member of WikiProject Liechtenstein. I recently created the article International Association of Project Managers. It has now been marked for deletion, wrongly in my opinion. I was wondering if you could comment on it as well? Because this article is about an association in Lichtenstein.
