Dear Steve! :) edit

Dear Steve, these last days have been somewhat frantic to me (I'll explain to you later, I promise!) so your beautiful message remained at my talk page, unreplied - but shining a beautiful light everytime I saw it. Yet, I didn't want to leave it just like that, so I decided to pass by and thank you, once again, for guessing a fitting moment to gift me your warmth and kindness. Love you Steve Li - you're the best wikifriend I can ever ask for :) Phaedriel - 07:54, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Centrifugal force edit

I've just received a notice warning that I will be blocked if I continue vandalising pages. I disagree with this as I was not vandalising a page. The message tells me to start improving pages. I was. I edited a page dedicated to centrifugal force which is a force which does not actually exist. This is a known fact. I have been told this in my physics lesson by my physics teacher and also from many other well informed sources. I would like to be able to edit this page to explain this misconception without having the page changed back to it's former, incorrect self. If there is anything I need to do, ie citations, then please tell me so that users are not grossly misinformed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Redhairules (talkcontribs)

Yes please cite all your sources, see WP:CITE. Please know the sources you cite must be verifiable, and reliable, so please also see Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:Reliable sources sadly your physics teacher most likely does not fall into either of those. YIKES!!! edit

Hi. Something seriously weird is going on! It all started when I was checking my watchlist. Something is gravely wrong with Wikipedia:Wikipedians (I think). See its talk page: Wikipedia talk:Wikipedians#Virus?. I then decided to check the history of the page, and something weird happened. The reason why I'm telling you this is because you made one of the edits in the diff I'm about to show you: THIS! The weird part is, someone made an edit, as if it were actually another page. You then reverted that edit, but reverted it back, as if it were another page! Soon after, another user reverted your edit (see diff), and the outcome was that of another page! YIKES! So, It looks like the page is trapping in the other diffs! The worst part of all, it appears the page started having problems shortly after I added the Wikipe-tanCrazy image! So, should I try replacing it with a better image, and see if things improve? Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 16:38, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, that was some kind of bug that biron fixed. See [1], [2], and [3] for more details. No the image you added had nothing to do with the glitch so no worries with that. Happy editing. :) KOS | talk 16:51, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Bendableconcrete.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Bendableconcrete.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
