Speedy deletion nomination of Chris derosa

A tag has been placed on Chris derosa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please note that even if the copyright issue were resolved, the promotional tone of a company or personal website is likely to be unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view. Article subjects need to have notability, which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." There is more detail at WP:Notability (people) and for musical performers WP:MUSICBIO, and good advice on how to write an acceptable article at WP:Your first article. Proposed deletion of Chris DeRosa (Musician)

The article Chris DeRosa (Musician) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Hello Knowingdrums,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Chris derosa, may be copied from http://musicians.allaboutjazz.com/musician.php?id=2795. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

For twelve years you have been using this account for the sole purpose of trying to publicise one person who does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability standards (presumably yourself). Before that you appear to have briefly used at least one other account for the same purpose. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. However, you must have long ago realised that what you were doing was not in line with Wikipedia's standards, in view of the messages above and the numerous times when your self-promotional page has been deleted, under all the different titles you have used to repeatedly re-create it.

Since it is evident that you have no intention of doing anything here except continuing the same unacceptable editing, you have been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you decide that you would like to start making constructive contributions to the encyclopaedia on other subjects, in a neutral and non-promotional way, you may make request for an administrator to unblock you. To do so, first read the guide to appealing blocks, and then add the text {{unblock|2=reason=Your reason}} at the bottom of this page, replacing the words "Your reason" with an explanation why you think unblocking you will be beneficial to the encyclopaedia.
