BAE HS.125

Where did you find the information that the last of the British Aerospace BAe 125 was delivered in February 1984? It seems to conflict with the earlier statement, three BAe 146-100s entered service with The Queen's Flight (as BAe 146 CC.2s) from 1986 as the flight's first jet aircraft. It's hard to believe that the executive aircraft in Britain are all more than 20 years old. I would have thought that the HS.125's were much newer.Pacomartin (talk) 02:02, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I did that by accident, I'm actually still editing that page. Trying to work out what needs to happen here, it links to understudy which if you then click disscusion from this page, it takes you to the page which already has an article assessment (by me). WikiProject Nottinghamshire proposal

Hi Karl i would suggest a note/message on the WikiProject England talk page may get some interest as that is the parent project for the regions (counties) and some earlier discussions have been held about counties without projects in the past on there.

I'm involved with most of the neighbouring counties, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire & Yorkshire, and Sheffield (forerunner to Yorkshire project), hence seeing your note on pages I've edited / watch in Notts area. (BTW I currently only watching articles and minor editing a few, so will not make promises to actively assist in set up). - Good look getting a project going for Nottinghamshire - BulldozerD11 (talk) 00:54, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Theatre edits

Thanks for all the theatre edits, but IMO you don't need to add the talkheader template to the talk pages: I've never seen a serious argument on one of these London theatre pages and in my 2 years of watching them, editors have usually been extremely civil. Alliance

I have just thought of an idea that could help to improve your WikiProject (Nottinghamshire). I have looked at the counties in the East Midlands and Compared them to the amount of those counties with WikiProjects, they are Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We all share a common purpose, that is to work on our county's articles which include local history, geography and biographies.

Therefore to help us share methods of research and many other needs (basically 'constructive collaboration' as I call it) I am proposing that we form an alliance, NOT a Merger. I believe an alliance allows us to be independent just as before but in collaboration as well. This could really benefit our WikiProjects and I feel we might be the first in Wikipedia's history. I am a member of WikiProject Lincolnshire, I have founded WP:Latin and have already proposed the idea with relatively positive feedback still coming in and have placed a notice in WikiProject England. 95jb14 (talk) 17:44, 24 September 2009 (UTC).

Newbie

Just joined Wikipedia and this group in order to update data on Collingham and surrounding villages. I already seem to have run into trouble as I've added a link to a website of which I am an administrator. Having said that, the site is free, open and carries no advertising, but contains much relevant information that can't be transcribed into Wikipedia. Issue 5 - February 2010 Welcome to the latest WikiProject Theatre newsletter (the first in quite a while!) bringing you news of what's going on in the project, what progress we're making, and how you can get involved. Latest News All theatre articles currently tagged with a project banner have now been assessed for quality. There are still plenty to assess for importance, though - see the article assessment page for details. There is now a News section on the main project page, updated automatically to keep us informed of developments in theatre articles. Collaboration of the Month Theatre has been nominated as the next project collaboration. This could be an excellent opportunity to improve the quality of one of our most important articles - listed as one of Wikipedia's top 1000 most vital articles - but it needs a lot of work before it can be considered for even good article nomination! Stop by the collaboration page for tips on how to improve an article, to add your support, or to suggest alternative or future collaborations. Jobs you can do Any and all improvements to theatre-related articles will help the project, but if you're looking for something to do, have a look at the to-do list. Some current areas of priority are: Improving top-importance articles Prioritisation of unknown-importance articles Creation of requested article stubs If you are currently working on a particular topic or area of the project, and would like to muster some support from other editors, feel free to add tasks to the to-do list. Or even think about setting up an informal working group - create a project subpage to organise tasks in a central location. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized.
