Pizza edit

Note from KleenupKrew: Here is where the trolls start coming out of the woodwork. This user apparently left me a pizza because I nominated his/her article on a non-notable LaRouchie for deletion. KleenupKrew 10:24, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
You are calling someone a troll because they tried to make your day better? Please take them at their word, and assume good faith - it's one of the foundation stones here. AnonEMouse (squeak) 13:15, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Pizzas are delicious but in this case check Jester's contributions. He/she also blanked my AFD nomination for that article. KleenupKrew 20:34, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hmm. You may be right. Eating my own words is also very delicious. Mm-mm. Sorry about that.... AnonEMouse (squeak) 21:03, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Grow up! edit

I am a deletionist... what a joke!!! Delete all deletionists you are a threat to all that Wikipedia stands for. Better contribute. --Swedenborg 08:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

And this note was apparently left because I voted Delete on a silly non-notable piece of promo for somebody's project to create a "new global currency". KleenupKrew 10:27, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ok lets see who is silly, time will show.. --Swedenborg 19:50, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your comment on List of Rare Diseases edit

Hi KleenupKrew,

Rare Disease isn't just some wikipedian's POV, but a generally accepted phrase in the medical community. Would you be willing to reconsider your "delete" comment in the AfD for List of rare diseases? Thanks, Andjam 13:46, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi. The problem isn't the term rare disease, the problem is that the article is a "list". An unmaintainable one at that. How about putting up articles on these diesases that are currently redlinked, that would be a big help to Wikipedia (and it's the sort of article we need a lot more of.) Comments on Cleanup re: AfD of Gary Renard edit

Hi! I nominated the AfD you voted on for on Gary Renard and the general consensus appears to be to have the article merged. Please see my comments near the bottom in the discussion. I would like to move toward a speedy resolution and consensus so that I can begin working on the merge. I have already contacted Coredesat (talk · contribs) in that regard as well. If we can make this a unanimous decision then I will contact an admin to close the discussion. It appears that his book may have enough notability to save the author. Thanks! New Right category edit

I created the Category:New Right on basis of this Minkenberg cite"There are new groups of the radical right which try to influence public debate and the minds of people rather than voting behaviour. These groups—think tanks, intellectual circles, political entrepreneurs—are summarized as the New Right in the literature. In the United States, they include organizations led or founded by Paul Weyrich, such as the Free Congress Foundations and the Institute for Cultural Conservatives. In Europe the most prominent groups are the French Nouvelle Droite groups Club de l'Horloge and especially GRECE, led by philosopher Alain de Benoist, the German Neue Rechte, inspired by the the French counterpart but als by the Weimar Conservative Revolution, and the Italian Nouva Destra."

The problem is New Right is a term which has been used since the 1980s in U.S. politics to refer to the entire Reagan coalition, and since then to refer to the same groups and individuals - including the Christian Right, Heritage Foundation and so on. In Europe the term refers to the Nouvelle Droit and related groups - in general, "third positionism" and groups critical of Christianity among others. The European New Right's vision is a Europe of "a hundred flags", small nations and radical decentralization. The U.S. and European meanings of the term are two entirely different things. Best to keep the categories separate. KleenupKrew 20:35, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well in the case that Category:New Right (Europe) and Category:New Right (United States) will not be deleted, I will seek deletion of the Category:New Right (United States), and suggest moving Category:New Right (Europe) up to Category:New Right. Intangible 21:11, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
