I have actually spent some time googling this and can find no reference to you at all. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not especially Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought and Wikipedia:Verifiability and pages linked from that page. I assume this is a prank. Even if it is not, as the linked pages show, Wikipedia can not just take your word for it. It is suspect and needs a reliable, verifiable, neutral source to be included. Hello, years ago I edited Give a penny take a penny. I believe I started the concept in my town and it blossomed from there ( I’ll leave the story at the bottom) and wanted to claim I was the inspiration if not the inventor of Give a penny take a penny. During the discussion with the editor he said I needed sources. It took 6 almost 7years but I found the original people that worked at Stewart’s and Mobile at the time in question. They have signed statements that The story’s are true and they were in fact working when said events took place.

Story: it was around 1989 summer I was in Stewart’s (gas station) we lived in a small town. I paid for my items the manager had no quarters dimes or nickles, one of the employees went to the bank to get some. I had to go, so I said leave them here let people use them. The manager put them in a cup about a day or so later I returned and saw the cup still there and thought it was neat but it had nickels in it as well. About 2 weeks or so later I was at Mobile (gas station) I still don’t know why to this day but I specifically asked for Pennys and did the same thing there. I was a kid trying to do right hanging around stores in my youth, but as I got older I noticed more and more cups with Pennys near cash registers then the plastic trays which I do not claim credit for just the concept. Honorable mention possibly. I put a lot of leg work to find these people and will be glad to email there statements with my own. Let me know if I have to have them notarized.
