Hi, Klanderud. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person by golly! Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've made an account! Thanks for joining; you're on your way to making some great contributions.

Because I've noticed you've just joined, I wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. Any questions, nothing is too silly (we've heard them all). The tips below should help you to get started too. Best of luck! JoeSmack Talk 06:10, 10 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yessss! You made an account! Awesome!
  • Anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people. Besides that, you shouldn't feel nervous or anything about a good-willed contribution. If you're concerned, talk to us.
  • When you're ready, start your first article using the Article Wizard. You don't HAVE to use it, but for your first article it really helps. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references. If you'd like more guidance, you guessed it, talk to us.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

P.S. If you just feel like poking around, Wikipedia:Help is a good place to start. :)

I am afraid I have deleted the article you have created about yourself, and nominated the image File:Timothy-Klanderud-Beach-Lighthouse.jpg for deletion, due to being outside the project's scope. (I suggest that you upload it to Flickr or another image hosting service.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 09:47, 10 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Seem like I can only nominate for deletion, how do I delete -Klanderud

Speedy deletion nomination of Shigeharu Yamamoto

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Shigeharu Yamamoto requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Sushiya (talk) 06:59, 30 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
