Orphaned non-free image File:Saharindialogo.PNG edit

Thanks for uploading File:Saharindialogo.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions. If you have a question, place a {{helpme}} template, along with your question, beneath this message.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Hi Kkm010. Thanks for this edit updating the overall mobile penetration rate for India. However, note that the entire table uses the same source, and you did not update the table, in essence resulting in an unsourced table. Could you please, in the future, update the table as well for consistency? Best regards. --Muhandes (talk) 15:46, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the edit of article Abhishek Singhvi edit

Hi, There are certain lines in the article which has no references cited. The reference sited down below the article may or may not contain the information but the issue is that there no references sited in the whole section "Career". If you are interested adding back those lines kindly site the reference at the end of each sentence or atleast at the end of the paragraph. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Castroby (talkcontribs) 17:54, 2 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Regarding File:Shiv-Sena-flag.png edit

I have removed File:Shiv-Sena-flag.png which you added to Shiv Sena with this edit, because it does not have a valid non-free media use rationale for the article. Please see Wikipedia:Non-free content for the applicable policy and Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline if you want to address the issues. Thank you. Oh dear..... edit

You haven't been around for very long, obviously! Before you make any more extravagant statements about Michelangelo and Leonardo just be aware that I have been over that ground before. If you look through the Leonardo archives, you will find a very lengthy discussion with an editor who was positively paranoid about me using the word "famous" in relation to Leonardo, because it is a so-called "Peacock Word" and we don't do that, here on Wiki! I attempted at length to explain that in the case of Leonardo, he was so famous within his own lifetime that his "fame" was a topic that needed to be dealt with, in relation to the man himself. It was a properly biographical subject! I met a blank wall of misunderstanding. He's just an artist. Needs to be dealt with the same as every other artist. You can't use the word "iconic" to describe the Vitruvian man because, even though i have seen Snoopy, and Homer Simpson drawn like that, I personally didn't know it was called the Vitruvian Man so it can't be iconic, can it etc etc etc etc.

Basically, your additions are spot on, but if you can't reference them directly to a publication, then they will be removed, probably before the day is out. Or am I being too pessimistic?

Please trot over to La Sagrada Familia, check the discussion page and see what one has to contend with. I was beaten down, over the last discussion, because if you revert an edit three times, they call in the law and ban you. I was down and out over a technicality.

Good luck! Are you MK by any chance? If so, just reference your own book and everyone will be happy!

List of Internet users by country edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of Internet users by country, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.

The number of Internet users is derived from this list showing the number of Internet users as a percentage of the population in 2010 (which is properly referenced in the article). The absolute numbers for each country are calculated using country population data from the US Census Bureau International Data Base (also properly referenced in the article). The International Telecommunication Union is an authoritative and reliable source. "Internet World Stats" is not a reliable source. I will consult with a third party if you continue to revert the article. Pristino (talk) 14:52, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:OrkutHomepage.PNG edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:OrkutHomepage.PNG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Deletion discussion about Anjali Kara edit

Hello, Kkm010, and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia!

I wanted to let you know that some editors are discussing at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anjali Kara whether the article Anjali Kara should be in Wikipedia. I encourage you to comment there if you think the article should be kept in the encyclopedia.

The deletion discussion doesn't mean you did something wrong. In fact, other editors may have useful suggestions on how you can continue editing and improving Anjali Kara, which I encourage you to do. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the Help Desk.

Thanks again for your contributions! Dismas|(talk) 14:08, 27 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Gaya Patal edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gaya Patal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Jazmin edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jazmin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion".
