Joanne's Peer Review

  • Lead Section: Effectively summarizes Whitehead's achievements and explains why she is a notable figure. I don't think you need to relink Socialist Party (or versions of it) after it has already been linked once.
  • Clear Structure: The sections mimic that of other Wikipedia articles and are organized clearly. Perhaps considering moving Career above The Arrest of Suffrage so that readers can get an overview of Whitehead before going into more detail about her work?
  • Balanced Coverage: Uses a neutral, balanced tone. Sources are distributed evenly throughout the article. The jump from the main paragraph of The Arrest of Suffrage section to the final sentence is a little sudden. Perhaps it can all be one paragraph? The transition between the data about Socialist Sunday Schools and the intro to the quote is also a little sudden. Perhaps explain why the quote is relevant to the the previous information before going into the quote?
  • Neutral Content: Uses an objective, third-person perspective. Did any of Whitehead's contemporaries comment on The Arrest of Suffrage? Might be interesting to see those different perspectives if you have time.
  • Reliable Sources: All the links work and the sources relate to the information in the article. The block quote is properly set apart from the rest of the paragraph. The sources are credible and include a mix of academic books, papers, and articles.
