Welcome! edit

My Top 3 Choices for Article Edits:

1). Jay C. Buckey [1]

This is a stub article about an astronaut that does not give much information about his trip into space, his job, or his background before NASA. I believe it will be very interesting to learn more about him and edit his article.

2). West Morris Mendham High School [2]

This article is on my personal high school and after looking over it quickly, a lot can be improved. Sports history can definitely be improved, as I can already see boys soccer needs improvement.

3). Michael J. Bloomfield [3]

This is a stub article on another astronaut who completed amazing and groundbreaking tasks with NASA. His work has not been properly documented or explained, so there is a lot of room to edit.

My Current Top Choice Article to Edit:

As of right now on the morning of September 21, 2015, my top article to edit is the stub on Michael J. Bloomfield. He was a higher ranking astronaut than Buckey and also travelled to the ISS two times, so there should be a lot of sources on his work. His article can be edited significantly and is interesting to me, so this is my top choice.

The Article I'm Picking to Edit (30 September 2015):

I will be editing the article on former USA astronaut Michael J. Bloomfield. He has completed three successful missions to space and there is barely any information on him on his wikipedia article! I do not know much about space missions or astronaut positions, so this will give me a chance to learn about them and improve his wikipedia page. There are many sources describing positions and the details of each mission, so I believe I will be add significant information to this page without much background knowledge. UPDATE ON THE ARTICLE I WILL BE EDITING (20 October 2015): I will be editing the stub article on the Snow Riot of 1835 [4]. Originally, I was going to edit the Wikipedia page of astronaut, Michael J. Bloomfield, but I could not find enough credible sources on him and his missions. The rationale I am leaning towards for why I could not find this information is that he is still alive, so not many articles or sources can post information on him. So, the Snow Riot was an anti-abolishment of slavery riot that occurred 30 years before the Civil War in Washington, DC. There is barely any information posted on this Wikipedia article, but there are quality sources on the topic, so I believe I will be able to make a significant contribution to the page.
