1. Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. 2. Please stop adding advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. coccyx bloccyx(toccyx) 00:13, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
  3. Please stop. If you continue spamming Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. coccyx bloccyx(toccyx) 00:16, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

November 2008 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for spam, advertising, or promotion. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. --VS talk 00:37, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Can you please explain to me why Myspace is able to spam band pages on Wikipedia and sodahead.com cannot? These pages are officially endorsed by the artists and we are just following the same guidelines that Myspace.com is. I expect a proper explanation otherwise I would suspect you are receiving private funding to make an exception to your guidelines. Please tell me who Coccyx Bloccyx is because if he isn't a wikipedia employee I would like to bring to your attention a mis flag on all my recent additions over the past two days. This reflects poorly on the integrity of Wikipedia.com

Decline reason:

I do not have reason to believe that Myspace is spamming any pages. Individual editors linking to bands' Myspace pages are more likely. At any rate, whatever others may do has no bearing on your block; see WP:GAB. —  Sandstein  04:38, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

FYI, Coccyx Bloccyx is a volunteer Wikipedia editor, as am I and everyone else here. Wikipedia does not have paid employees administer the site.  Sandstein  04:40, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
