Aaliyah edit

WikiThanks

Wow! You did an excellent job sourcing and editing the Aaliyah article! Many thanks!! Pinkadelica (talk) 08:01, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome. You did a great job and I figured someone should tell you. The userboxes are all right here. You kind of have to search for different ones through different categories. Pinkadelica (talk) 05:03, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ambiguous link edit

Your recent edit to Nida Fazli included one or more links to the page Persian, which is a disambiguation page. This type of page is intended to direct users to more specific topics. Ordinarily we try to avoid creating links to disambiguation pages, since it is preferable to link directly to the specific topic relevant to the context. You can help Wikipedia by revising the links you added to Nida Fazli to refer directly to the most relevant topic. (This message was generated by an automatic process; if you believe it to be in error, please accept our apologies and report the error to help us improve this feature.)Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Infobox added in Captain Alatriste edit

This is a stock message to a number of people who have contributed to the article on the ‘’book’’ series of Captain Alatriste as an FYI. I have added a character infobox to the article. If you have time, enter the edit function in article and fill in appropriate information after the = sign. Fill in only what you think applies, but please leave all fields there. If nothing comes after the = sign, then it won’t appear in the article. On the other hand, if someone DOES think the field applies, they can add pertinent info. I do understand that this is technically a series article and not a character article. I’ve added the info box because 1) the series does revolve around Alatriste in large part and 2) the box really does improve what little is on the article right now. If a character article is created, we can copy and paste over. IMHO (talk) 03:11, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
