Hi Kirk edit

After we spoke on the phone, I saw you had left me that little note under a couple of photos on my talk page. A couple factors in writing in the Wikipedia that may help you are these: Do not ever indent your writing. (I know you did not do it, but thought it worth saying.) All the lines you write (whether in a note on someone's talk page, or in editing an article) must have all the words aligned up against the left margin line. If not, the results might

end up like this!

Also, when you begin a new section --for example, a note to me, you must create a new section with a title. Like the way I am leaving this:

Regarding "wikification" and your collection in Commons edit

Anytime you add text to an article, the concept is to link important or new ideas, words, whatever, by placing brackeets around the word(s). So if we are writing about the Dixie Chicks this would be the way to do it. Also, don't forget to click the signature-time stamp button (or type four tildes) to sign your stuff!

  • I created a Category for you called thr Kirk Stauffer photo collection in Wikimedia Commons now. I went back and added many of your photos to that Category while keeping them in the other categories they still belong to. An example in Commons is that of Butterfly Boucher: [1] See tne categories at the bottom of the page for her!

Well thar's it-- hope it is helpful! Leahtwosaints (talk) 20:59, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Greetings edit

Hi Kirk! Leahtwosaints asked me to introduce myself to you. I have a fair bit of experience editing music related articles on Wikipedia, so if you have any questions that I might be able to help with, don't hesitate to ask me. Love your photographs in the Emily Robinson and Katie Melua articles, by the way! --Kohoutek1138 (talk) 13:24, 24 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re:Photo Question edit

Great pic; thanks for sharing! I have added a couple of comments on the image page linking back to your Flickr account- is that what you were after? J Milburn (talk) 10:17, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
