Disambiguation link notification for April 20 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Social Democratic Party of Germany, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FDP. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Compiled results edit

Hello. Thanks for your work on election results. Can I suggest that when you are compiling the results like you appear to have done for Wales and Samoa, you post the tables you've used to calculate it on the article's talk page for others to check how you got the totals? I've seen a few editors compiling the results make errors and it's much easier to this to hand to double check rather than repeating the full calculation yourself. See e.g. Talk:2021 Caymanian general election or Talk:2021_Ugandan_general_election#Vote_totalling where I've done similar. Cheers, Number 57 11:30, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

No worries, that can be done. Although, I'll probably just post the links to the tables I've compiled in Google spreadsheet instead since that's where most of my work is being done. Thanks for the advice Kirill.alx (talk) 11:44, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Scottish Parliament Election Map edit

Hey there. I'm wondering why you removed my Scottish Parliament Election Map from the 2021 Scottish Parliament election article. (I'm pretty sure it was you, though I may be wrong). Thanks. Ayvind-Bjarnason (talk) 16:24, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Ayvind-Bjarnason: Hello there. Unfortunately, that wasn't me; the part that I only edited on the 2021 Scottish election was the overall results for all the parties. I'm sure it was somebody else. You can double-check the revision history again just to make sure. If it was me, just let me know once again. Best of luck! Kirill.alx (talk) 17:22, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
The revision history said you did; it must have been a mistake, so not to worry. I can easily just put it back, I just wanted to make sure that no-one took it away for a reason. Thanks for the response, and have a wonderful day! Ayvind-Bjarnason (talk) 17:57, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oh my apologies! Yeah, I didn't mean to remove that. I was cleaning up the table and must have had inadvertently remove it along the process. That was my bad. You can put it back as you wish, thank you for letting me know! :) Kirill.alx (talk) 18:09, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Replacing templates edit

Hello – good work on the Belgian election articles. Just to say when you remove the templates from the election articles, it's probably a good idea to remove them from elsewhere (so they can be deleted). This can be done by putting onlyinclude tags around the table (like this) and then replace the template on other articles using this code, where the second part is the section the results table is in. Cheers, Number 57 17:06, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Number 57: Got it but how do I find out which pages are using the templates? Is there a way to do that or does that do the trick essentially? Kirill.alx (talk) 17:10, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Go to the template and click on the 'What links here' link on the left-hand sidebar. Some of the links will be from other templates, but others will be uses of the template. Number 57 17:12, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! Appreciate your help and guidance as always :)) Kirill.alx (talk) 17:14, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

ITN recognition for 2021 Saint Lucian general election edit

On 29 July 2021, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2021 Saint Lucian general election, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 01:56, 29 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Infobox upgrade edit

Hello. Just to let you know, {{Infobox legislative election}} has been upgraded to pick up party colours from party names. So if you link a name in the party field (like |party1=[[Labour Party]]), it will pick up the meta colour template. This means you don't need to manually set the colour or create shortname templates to get it to work. Cheers, Number 57 19:46, 1 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
