Re: Wikipedia e-mail

edit

You can request a checkuser and IP block exemption if you wish to use your-freedom.de for editing. To do so, please use the {{unblock}} template. Thank you, — madman 01:43, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Wikipedia is blocked in Syria, and so I have to use a proxy program for that. I have used Wikipedia before and I have never spammed or made any abuses. Kinrous (talk) 16:34, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Accept reason:

It looks like you've been editing from several Syrian IP networks lately, and they don't appear to be blocked. Are you having difficulty accessing specific pages, or the site in general? Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:33, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I can access Wikipedia from Syrian IPs but all the pics and css structures are blocked and so the page looks messy, This is for the English Wikipedia, while the Arabic one is completely blocked. Kinrous (talk) 12:51, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

There is nothing we can do then on-wiki. I support unblocking. ~~Ebe123~~ → report 16:21, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'm sure most of those in this conversation know this, but just to make sure: This request is for IP block exemption as Kinrous wishes to edit (but is not currently editing) via one of these anonymous proxies that I have blocked. Ebe123, per Wikipedia:Open proxies, these proxies should remain blocked. As these circumstances for IP block exemption are exceptional and I cannot verify a credible editing history, I am not comfortable granting this request without the aid of a checkuser. Thanks, — madman 02:20, 18 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, I don't know how to convince you to grant me this request, but I can be easily followed in case I made any sabotaging, then you can block me as easily. I have runaway from Arabic wikipedia for such reasons, it's all biased and always have the constant annoying Sunn-Shiaa struggle Kinrous (talk) 12:25, 18 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

IP block exempt

edit

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 00:56, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot people, I appreciate it Kinrous (talk) 04:55, 26 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Just to let you know, I am studying in Ukraine now so the unblock is not necessary anymore, thanks :) --Kinrous (talk) 14:23, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
