Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because... it's a bloody joke! It's a user page for heaven's sake! --The Duke of Madras (talk) 08:15, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

But you can't do that on Wikipedia. Talk to an administrator, maybe you can keep it if you clearly label it as a joke.--I am One of Many (talk) 08:21, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well, you clearly don't mind this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:The_Duke_of_Waltham Double standards much?

You can't just copy pages either. Many things are overlooked in Wikipedia, but eventually they are found. When and administrator comes by he/she may delete that page as well, now that you have pointed it out. You see, this is an encyclopedia. There is room for humor on user pages, that is no problem, but your page is like a real article and if you look through the information in my welcome you can discover what is and is not allowed.--I am One of Many (talk) 08:37, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

That page hadn't been found in five and a half years but you found this one in five minutes. You also let your issue with this page immediately known while you are yet to even attempt to mark that page for deletion. Are you still going to deny your double standards? Tell me really, if you marked this page for deletion as soon as you saw it citing the reasons above, why haven't you marked that one yet, citing the exact same reasons?

name change edit

Hey, Duke, I noticed that, despite your name change, you're still using your old name. You actually have to log out and log back in with the new name in order for it to work;the two names are separate accounts now. Thanks! Writ Keeper 17:49, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stop trolling edit

Or i will block both your accounts. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:40, 25 January 2013 (UTC) See User talk:The Duke of Madras; I was too hasty I think. --Floquenbeam (talk) 19:21, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
