Wassermann's warning

edit

Please don't worry about Wassermann's warning, he often accuses people who differ with him on content of being "vandals", but it's not taken seriously. Jayjg (talk) 23:27, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

EndUN Userbox

edit

Hi, you recently participated in the Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:DieWeisseRose/Userboxes/EndUN discussion. I have reluctantly submitted the closing statement by User:Tony Sidaway for deletion review. Please consider taking a look at Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2007_July_1#User:DieWeisseRose.2FUserboxes.2FEndUN. Thanks. --DieWeisseRose 02:40, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, until recently you displayed my EndUN userbox on your user page--I'm glad you liked it. What you may not realize is that on June 29, User:Dmcdevit edited your user page and replaced the code with code more to his her/his liking. Among other things, this action partially and selectively depopulated Category:Wikipedians interested in the United Nations--most likely removing your user name from the category.

I'm disputing the actions of Dmcdevit at Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2007_July_1#User:DieWeisseRose.2FUserboxes.2FEndUN. So, please consider having a look and joining in the discussion. In the meantime, if you want to put my original userbox code back on your user page then here it is: {{User:DieWeisseRose/Userboxes/EndUN}} Cheers. --DieWeisseRose 03:42, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikimania in Atlanta!

edit

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!

P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 09:21, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Schools of history

edit

Hi. I noticed this ([1]) edit. That's a lot of work! However, I'd argue strongly that all of the items you've added (I think - I may have missed an exception) are not schools of history, but are fields of history or similar. --Dweller (talk) 16:11, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your [edit] to Debra Lafave seems to inject bias into the article. Wikipedia has a neutral point of view. Please consult this section of the style guideline. I will edit the article to comply. Blackworm (talk) 07:41, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
