Block

It is of course possible to appeal against a block, and if this was shared I would have expected an appeal to materialise. People are blocked indefinitely 1, and for a persistent, obscene and recidivist vandal like this, I would be looking at a longer block than a few weeks anyway (even schools can be anon-only blocked for up to a year). I'm a bit busy at present, but if I get time, I'll do a who-is to track the ISP, and maybe review the block length, Jimfbleak (talk) 11:09, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

The whois says that this is registered to Indiana Dept Education - seems odd, since it all appears to be the word of a single vandal, and there are no constructive edits, but to be on the safe side, I've changed to a 6-month schoolblock, thanks Jimfbleak (talk) 13:26, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

I've only been an admin for a little while, but there are so few willing to be admin coaches that I thought I'd go ahead and give out pointers.
