Dear @Chaotic Enby, I would love if you could provide me more information on why this article is marked for deletion
this will help me to understand what is the problem and learn, waiting for your feedback

Hi, the article appears to be more of an essay than an encyclopedia article, and reads like it is building a case to demonstrate the importance of a particular approach. A more encyclopedic way to go at it would be to write an article about the general topic itself (Land use in Rwanda) reflecting how it is treated in the sources. It's a good thing that you already compiled a lot of sources on the topic, and I wish you luck if you want to rewrite it to be more encyclopedic in scope. @Chaotic Enby, Thank you so much for your swift feedback, I really appreciate your feedback. Honestly, I want to learn more, I love research and writing, but I need guidance. Marking my article for deletion is not discouraging me, I need to be mentored because I feel like I am yet to develop confidence in contributing to Wikipedia, but I would love to keep making contributions, and I know I need time to learn
I will conduct research to better understand the differences between essays and encyclopedia articles. I would love to i am guided properly to fixing the article instead of deletion as I will learn and then modify it to get it right.
I am open to learning and to make contributions

Thanks a lot, I am always happy to see enthusiastic new editors! There are actually mentorship programs (Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user and Wikipedia:Growth Team features) if you want to take a look at them! Regarding the deletion, it is an opportunity to learn, and I think re-scoping the article on the general topic would likely help avoiding deletion, and you can write it with the sources you have already found, if that works for you? Good luck either way! Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 15:25, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
