About Draft:Banhoek Conservancy edit

Hi Kim, I'm going to try to help you get that article into acceptable shape. To begin with, have you read the policy guide pages reccommended to you by User:Orangemike yet? To recap they are; WP:NOBLECAUSE, WP:PROMOTION, WP:NPOV and WP:RS. Secondly a few questions about the subject. Has the Banhoek Conservancy ever been in the news or have articles been written about it in mainstream magazines? Has any academic/scientific study been done on it? I notice that a Google search comes up with quite a number of sport events hosted by the conservancy such as trail running and mountain biking, are there press reports about these events? This is enough to begin with. (PS - I have withdrawn the review submission as there's no point in getting a review we know will not pass.) Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:49, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Roger, I have read the policy guides and I understand them. There have been a number of academic /scientific studies within the Conservancy. There are also news reports on the events that have been held in the Conservancy as well. I will attach the references when I collect them together, Thanks for your assistance here.Kim Lord at banhoek conservancy (talk) 16:00, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm edit

@Kim Lord at banhoek conservancy: When I voted to keep the article you created, I was really expecting that you would continue working on it to make it better. What happened? Etamni | ✉   20:16, 17 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Etamni, I am very keen to sort out this article as our Conservancy is becoming more focussed on environmental issues such as riverine habitat renewal, as well as the continual removal of alien vegetation infestations. We also have a number of scientific studies in progress on the conservancy. My problem is that I do not have the wiki knowledge to continually work on the wiki article and as a result the article is neglected. I am the only one working on this article and am off to Italy for 2 weeks now so will not be able to get down to the editing.Kim Lord at banhoek conservancy (talk) 10:11, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

I see. Do what you can, as you can. And enjoy your trip. Etamni | ✉   10:32, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
