Tainted poll?

edit

Hi. Sorry to bother you. You participated in a television episode article naming poll which now lives at this location. Some feel that wording changes have compromised the results of that poll. If you don't mind, could you please take a look at what is there now and add a quick note at WT:TV-NC#Looking for anyone who objects to the last poll to say whether your feelings on the matter remain the same? Of course you can feel free to read over the entirety of both links for more information. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 02:17, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your support!

  A week ago I nominated myself, hoping to be able to help Wikipedia as an administrator as much as a WikiGnome. I am very glad many others shared my thoughts, including you. Thank you for your trust! Be sure I will use these tools to protect and prevent and not to harass or punish. Should you feel I am overreacting, pat me so that I can correct myself. Thanks again! Okay. I was unable to find any autoblocks matching the block message you have given but I lifted another one which may be affecting you. If you are still blocked, please request again or email me directly. We'll take care of this as soon as possible. --Yamla 17:53, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

{unblock-auto|1=169.244.71.253|2=I am still autoblocked while at school and still recieve the following message. Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Yes yes yes yes". The reason given for Yes yes yes yes's block is: "vandalism only account, was warned".|3=Syrthiss}

Okay, I removed the autoblock, you should be able to edit now. Mangojuicetalk 14:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC) Reply

Note that I am only effected by this block in between the hours of 8 AM and 2 PM EST.--Ac1983fan 20:12, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
For anyone reviewing this block, I made the block non anon-only on purpose; there have been lots of vandal accounts springing up from that IP address. See the history of Lignum vitae or Auburn Middle School -- see User:Boo boo boo boo boo and User:Yes yes yes yes. Mangojuicetalk 19:32, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ac1983fan, unfortunately the non-anon block does make sense for this IP address. We're looking into a way to fix it, though. I hope you can are able to make use of the editing time that you do have for the time being. -- Natalya 02:54, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Blocking account creation at the school itself should be enough of a deterrent. --  Netsnipe  ►  12:13, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
