Check-Up on Harris Article edit

Ahoy,

Just asking whether you have time to check out the narrative restructure I'm doing on the Cecil E. Harris article. Trying to take out the flourishes and hone the writing a bit. I haven't shortened it thus far but I think the language is becoming more encyclopedic. If you think I'm on the right track I'll keep working at it through the rest of the article. Cheers! Finktron (talk) 12:21, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Finktron: You are on the right track, keep going with it and you will eventually get it to GA. When you are done making your own changes, you should submit it at GOCE as Rupert recommended. Kges1901 (talk) 12:36, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your GA nomination of 5th Mechanised Corps (Soviet Union) edit

The article 5th Mechanised Corps (Soviet Union) you nominated as a good article has passed  ; see Talk:5th Mechanised Corps (Soviet Union) for comments about the article. Well done! US Air Force edit

Hi I saw your post on Cyberpower's talk page. I might be able to do it. I have a bot mostly written for that sort of thing just need the specifics of the URLs (an example old and new). -- GreenC 15:41, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Greatly appreciated. Here are the links:
Links at the top of the list are those most linked to. Could your bot also add these archive links:

Ok the first part I can do. The archiving will be up to IABot. It has a new user interface which allows specifying pages to operate on, so we can trigger it to work on pages that contain those links. But this feature is new and not yet operating .. in the mean time IABot is working through every page in the system and will get it to eventually, so one way or another. -- GreenC 19:38, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

BTW if you come across URL changes in the future (or other tasks needing a bot) you can post requests to Wikipedia:Bot requests. -- GreenC 19:42, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ok done. -- GreenC 04:27, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Impressive edit

Quite impressive how you turned a redirect into a start-class article overnight! Icebob99 (talk) 15:46, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
