105th Guards Airborne (Second Formation) edit

My apologies - I've just checked Holm's page and see you're completely right, the division was reformed in 1990. Buckshot06 (talk) 22:50, 4 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Alexander Kapitokhin edit

Thanks very much for this article - unusual to get this level of granularity, especially a midwar commander. Should you wish to consider other Airborne Forces bios, please consider Vasily Margelov (ru:Маргелов, Василий Филиппович), who, while postwar, is a revered figure for the Airborne Troops, building them up very strongly. Schofield says 'he is considered to be the real father of the VDV, and certainly he was to lead them through their most vital period of development.' (Carey Schofield, The Russian Elite, 33). Again many thanks for all your hard work. Cheers Buckshot06 (talk) 20:39, 1 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for doing this - User:Mrg3105 would be pleased, though he's no longer here. Buckshot06 (talk) 01:10, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
