Article probation notice

edit

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Barack Obama, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Talk:Barack Obama/Article probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- --Wehwalt (talk) 03:10, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not edit war or insert poorly sourced information about living people (a WP:BLP violation), as you have been doing on the Obama article. In addition, please see the notice above that this article is on article probation, meaning a high standard for civility and non-disruptive editing applies. Thanks, Wikidemon (talk) 03:14, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Questions about Obama's birth certificate have been well publicized, I can't help it if you haven't been paid attention. The contribution was more than fair to Obama if there is some type of preference here. I will say that the pedestrian tone of your message was clever and cute but please try to be a little more open minded in the future.

Thanks! --Kfedup (talk) 03:37, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Barack Obama. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below. Mfield (talk) 05:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
