You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 02:24, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was sharing great written interviews from a website that I have no relations too. I am a rockabilly,50s and 60s music fan and want to add to the pages that I love with related and credible material.

Decline reason:

This request is unconvincing. For example, you have shared a YouTube video on the day it was uploaded to a 6-subscriber channel, and it has 12 views as of today. This unblock request does not appear to be entirely honest. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:45, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

If I had to do it again, I would alternate subjects and topics. I am a soccer and sports journalist, you can google me. Rockabilly, 50s, 60s music, folk festivals and psychedelic era music is a hobby and passion of mine and I thought that the interviews and concert videos were worthy material to share.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 23:37, 12 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

KevLaramee, your new appeal does not appear to address the concern mentioned in the previous decline. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 03:01, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Yes I shared a video on the day it was uploaded. If my goals were to up the views of the channels or to make advertising, the video would have a lot more than 12 views. If my goals were to spam, I would do so with content that is mainstream and popular to get traffic. Not content that is from festivals held 15 years ago. To be honest, I am trying to make sure that some interviews and performances of artists of a bygone era are archived and available.

Okay, that does indeed alleviate my "no relations" concern; I'm sorry for not having believed your explanation before. I hope the initial thought is understandable ("how would an entirely unconnected person have known about the video and the channel in the first place"). So you have randomly stumbled upon a relatively unknown website and decided to share the hidden gem with the world. Where else than Wikipedia would be the best place for doing so, of course. The idea is understandable, yet incorrect, since Wikipedia is not for promotion and the volunteer encyclopedia community is averse to spam.
Let's put all the "relations"/"no relations" questions aside. What remains is an account that has been used solely, from the first minute after its creation to today, for promoting a website – this even extends in a lesser way to the unblock request.
I won't be the reviewing administrator of the new appeal, but I'd like to make a recommendation:
  • Accepting that the block was necessary to enforce the community's policies and guidelines, even if you disagree with them
  • Agreeing not to continue similar behavior, and especially agreeing never to edit Wikipedia about that specific website or channel again, even if you don't really like this agreement
  • Providing examples for edits you would like to make in the future, proving that the block currently prevents contributions that the community actually considers to be useful.
If you manage to do that, even if it seems to be completely unfair, there is likely no reason to keep up the block. The block is meant to prevent further disruption, not to change your mind.
Best regards,
