February 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Anwar al-Awlaki, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 13:29, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Adam Yahiye Gadahn, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 13:30, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your request at the Dispute Resolution page edit

Your request for dispute resolution made at the Dispute Resolution Policy talk page has been removed as off-topic. That page is only for discussion of how to improve that policy. If you wish dispute resolution, use one of the processes described in that policy. However, the response given to you by Oshwah on his user talk page is absolutely correct under Wikipedia policy. Per this policy the only sources which can be used here are published third-party sources from a source which has a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Personal accounts of events which have not been published in that way cannot be used as sources. If there are no sources which meet Wikipedia's requirements the information cannot be used in Wikipedia, regardless of its importance. For help with questions such as this, consider using the Wikipedia Teahouse as it exists for the purpose of helping newcomers. Regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 23:07, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
